To add to that, I would suggest that education should become more demand-driven: people should be stimulated to think holistically (in systems) and are challenged to seek answers for the complex issues we’re coping with nowadays, like the food crisis, economic crisis and climate change. Furthermore I believe that the link between education, the public and the private sector should be strengthened in knowledge development so that the sectors become mutually reinforcing.
